Cover Photo + January - July Calendar Images
Cover Photo: “Angela K.” —A iconic image of the Angela K., the first tow of barges heading upriver to break through the Lake Pepin ice and officially open the 2026 shipping season.
January: Wabasha on a VERY cold day. It was so pretty that I had to take a photo! This image is available as a Gallery Metal Print, currently on display at Wings Over Alma in Alma, WI, through December 2026.
February: Amazing northern lights over Lake Pepin. I stayed up all night!
March: Beautiful Lake City, MN and the aqua-hued ice — the gemstone of Lake Pepin. (Technically, this was taken in April 2026, but I'll let that slide!)
April: I followed the tow, Angela K., up the Mississippi River for three days. Here she is coming around the corner at Reads Landing, MN at 2:30 a.m. I captured this while standing alone next to the train tracks — and, of course, a train came along!
May: American Melody Cruise Ship docked at Levee Park, Red Wing, MN.
June: Moody evening skies over Lake Pepin—captured near Kelly Lake House Bar & Grill’s dock, Lake City, MN.
July: Lake City, Minnesota’s annual Flags of Valor along Lake Pepin.

August - December Calendar Images
August: Beautiful Hok-Si-La Chapel nestled among the pines.
September: Sailboats at the Lake City Marina, Lake City, MN.
October: A picnic table for one (or six) with an amazing view of Stockholm, Wisconsin.
November: The bluff alongside Highway 61 heading toward Wabasha, MN. I fly over this area a lot — it's such a great view!
December: My favorite — the Canadian Pacific CPKC Holiday Train!! I've been photographing this train and taking my family to see it in Rochester, Hastings, and Wabasha, MN for OVER 20 YEARS!
